WHERE THE JOURNEY STARTS

ABOUT ME

I am an independent celebrant, living in east Cornwall.

I offer ceremonies to celebrate all the great milestones of our lives.

I am a mother and grandmother. I have worked as a nurse in the HNS, and for a national charity supporting some of the most vulnerable people in our society.

I have married, raised children, said that final goodbye to many family and friends, and seen much of life, its joys, pain, riches and sorrow, along my journey.

As human beings, we feel the need for ceremony at key moments and transitions of our lives, whether that is birth, death, joining together, or moving from one stage of life to another.
Exchanging solemn vows, the giving of a name, or the sharing of memories, food and drink…… we feel the need to celebrate together, to find joy, comfort, strength, encouragement.
We, as human beings, are all different, all unique. The ceremonies I offer are similarly unique, created with you.

I follow an earth-based spirituality but I am honoured to serve families within their own tradition, or in the way they choose. Whatever your faith, belief or culture, as an independent celebrant I would be honoured to work with you to create ceremonies meaningful to you.

I trained with the School of Celebrancy (www.schoolofcelebrancy.org), completing Serving the Living and the Dead in 2017, and Celebrating Life in 2023.

I am happy to consider ceremonies throughout Cornwall, Plymouth and west Devon, and further afield, although this would involve additional travel and accommodation
costs.
