The ceremony joining two people, two families, together needs to be one which reflects
the special nature of your relationship: how you met, how you fell in love, how you
envisage that love growing and deepening in your life together.

I can help you to craft a ceremony that embodies your commitment in a way that is as unique as the people you are; whether that is a traditional family-oriented celebration, or something that reflects your personal beliefs. I can assist with leading the ceremony, telling your story, supporting you with writing vows or words of commitment and blessing. I can offer ways for your families and friends to be an integral of your big day, or support you with creating a small personal ceremony.

My service includes an initial face to face meeting, whether in person or via the internet,
unlimited drafts of your special ceremony, and a rehearsal if wanted. I can provide also
any items you may wish to include, if you would like to “tie the knot” with a handfasting cord, or, in the way of our forebears, “jump the broom”.

You may already be aware, that marriages conducted by an independent celebrant in
England are not currently legally binding, (although we are campaigning to change this,
in line with other countries like Scotland).
To be legally married, you would need to book a short ceremony by a Registrar, this can
be done very simply by appointment at a Registry office.
